Our Aso Oke luxurious kimono offers a stylish alternative to outerwear on cool days. Drape it over your shoulders and leave open or drape and wrap round your neck like a shawl. It looks great over a fitted tee or turtle neck and jeans or trousers. For a sleek look belt it and adjust the kimono to whatever style you wish.

Aso Oke (also spelled Aṣọ Òkè) is a traditional handwoven fabric from the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria. It means "top cloth" or "cloth from the top" — indicating its prestige as a high-quality, ceremonial fabric. IIt’s often worn during special occasions.

Fabric care

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Aso Oke's delicate weave is not suited for a washing machine, which can cause it to unravel. Do not soak. Wring gently. Air dry way from direct sunlight. Steam or Iron on low heat to remove any creases.
